Crispy Honey Lime Chicken Thighs

Ingredients


  • 2 lbs bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 c honey
  • 1 lime juiced and zested
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Cooking Instructions


Cooksy will guide through the cooking instructions.
  • Preheat to 71°F
  • Add 2 tsp cumin, 2 tsp chili powder , 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper to bowl, and stir
  • Rub mixture on chicken
  • Heat to 118°F
  • Add 2 Tbsp olive oil to pan
  • Add seasoned chicken to pan.
  • Flip chicken
  • Flip chicken back over
  • Remove chicken from pan
  • Add 1/2 c honey to pan
  • Add 1 lime juiced and zested to pan
  • Add 2 Tbsp soy sauce to pan
  • Stir ingredients
  • Stir ingredients
  • Stir ingredients
  • Add chicken back to pan
  • Spoon sauce over chicken pieces
  • Note: If chicken thighs are thicker and/or struggling to reach 165 degrees internally, you can bake for few minutes in the oven at 400 degrees until done.
  • Remove ingredients from pan

Finishing Instructions


  • The sauce makes these even yummier served over rice.
  • Drizzle with sauce as you plate the chicken.
